What is not to love about September? Beautiful weather, colourful gardens and the possibility of rain; September is truly one of my favourite months of the year. "Petals in Paint" was off course inspired by the lovely Spring, and it was a joyful and relaxing painting to paint.
I admire everyone who attend these workshops as I know it takes courage to start a new hobby. It takes a lot of guts to get out of your comfort zone and try something you've never done before.
There is this quote that I really like, with a quick Google search I found that the quote has many authors, so if anyone knows who the actual author is, please let me know. The quote is "Be brave enough to suck at something new."
Not many people will have the courage to try something new, but you do and that's why I applaud every single one of my students. I am tremendously proud of you for coming to my workshops. I can already see the progress and the growth in your art and your confidence. You might not see or recognize this
just yet, but I do.
